Dita Von Teese has released a glimpse of her upcoming campaign for her new fragrance, Femme Totale. The campaign, as well as the perfume bottle, is a throwback to '30s-era fragrances. (Check out the old-school atomizer in the photo!)
Von Teese doesn't skimp on vamp, either. The busty burlesque queen is dressed in all black, revealing just a hint of cleavage.
“My perfume’s flacons need to be the absolute embodiment of my dream of glamour, mystery, beauty, and the Femme Fatale,” Von Teese says in recent press release. "I have always been a passionate collector of rare perfume bottles from the 1920s and 1930s. They are usually made of opaque glass, black or red, and are always extremely elegant, luxurious, and classy.”
Femme Totale is a combination of bergamot, peony, pepper, Bulgarian rose, jasmine, patchouli, musk, Gaiac wood and sandalwood.
“A scent needs to reflect all the different facets of my personality. It had to be elegant, glamorous, sophisticated, sexy, dark, and mysterious.”
